Sheepskin Boots

A natural way to keep feet warm, the early days of which can be traced back to the goldrush days in NZ.  Boots made of 'twin-faced' sheepskin.  Twin-faced refers to the boots being made of entire sheepskin.  (This is opposed to 'sheep's wool' which some boots are made from.)

These boots have always been ug/hug boots to Aussies and Kiwis - no matter what the brand name.  Did you know 'ug' is short for ugly?  Which is how sheepskin boots got their name.
